Ingredients
WET INGREDIENTS
-
1/2 C unsweetened almond or soy milk (can also sub water)
-
1 1/2 Tbsp lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp coconut oil
DRY INGREDIENTS
-
1/2 cup sliced raw almonds
-
2 Tbsp nutritional yeast flakes
-
1/2 tsp ground mustard
-
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
-
1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 tsp white pepper
Instructions
- Place all the ingredients in a high-powered blender and combine until really smooth. You will need to let it blend until the oil starts to emulsify the mixture and it becomes very creamy.
- Heat the sauce over the stove in a small saucepan for a few minutes to warm before serving. If you over heat it, it will thicken too much. If that happens just add a bit more water or almond milk to thin it out.

- Hotforfood recommends using this hollandaise with their recipe for smoked tofu benedict.
