Ingredients

  • 2 cups plain all purpose wheat flour
  • 3/4 tsp table salt
  • 3 Tbsp oil of choice
  • 2/3 cup warm water

Instructions

  1. Add oil to warm water
  2. Add salt to flour
  3. Combine wet and dry ingredients to form a sticky dough, cover and leave to rise/ rest for 20 minutes in a warm place.
  4. Once dough has rested, divide into 6-8 portions depending on how big you want your tortillas.
  5. On a floured surface roll out the dough into a thin round and transfer to a wide fry-pan to toast, lightly.
  6. Serve immediately or allow to cool and store in a sealed container in the fridge to use as wraps later.

Notes

Super simple wheat tortillas can roll thick or thin for wraps or naan replacement.

Adding the oil to the warm water stops oil from clumping together when it merges with the flour.
