Ingredients
- 3/4 cups water
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 Tbsp soy sauce/ tamari
- 1 Tbsp corn starch
Instructions
- Combine sugar, soy sauce and 1/4 cup of the water in a small saucepan.
- In a small bowl, combine 1/2 cup water and cornstarch until completely dissolved.
- Combine cornstarch solution with soy and sugar in the saucepan and slowly bring to a boil.
- Stir constantly until the mixture is quite thick but still of pour-able consistency.
Notes
- this mixture will make enough for two batches of dango, generously.
